World Encephalitis Day

World Encephalitis Day on Thursday, 22nd February, 2024 is the global awareness day for people who have been directly or indirectly affected by encephalitis.

Since its launch, it has reached over 400 million people through media interviews and features, events, and on social media.

It is our hope that World Encephalitis Day will play a leading role in our mission to increase global awareness of encephalitis and achieve our vision of a world without death and disability from encephalitis.
