Online support meetings
We host weekly and monthly meetings which connect our supporters across the world. Our Online Peer Support Groups are a great chance to meet like-minded people who have experienced encephalitis directly or indirectly.
We aim to keep these calls accessible, friendly, supportive and safe.

Weekly
Open to all – Every Thursday between 4pm to 5pm (GMT/BST).
These will resume on Thursday, 11th January 2024.
Monthly
For people directly affected by encephalitis
- Wednesday, 6th December, 6 – 7pm (GMT)
For carers/family members of adults affected by encephalitis
- Wednesday, 13th December, 6 – 7.30pm (GMT)
For parents/guardians of children affected by encephalitis
- Wednesday, 29th November, 6 – 7pm (GMT)
For people who have experienced bereavement
- Tuesday, 23rd January 2024, 6 – 7pm (GMT)
Bereaved
We run this twice a year, the next call for those who have been bereaved as a result of encephalitis, is on –

Regional Online Peer Support Groups
Several of our Support Volunteers also run regular regional meetings on Zoom. These are a fantastic way to meet and connect with other members of Encephalitis International in your local area who have been directly or indirectly affected by encephalitis.
